Jean-Michel Meersseman

Jean-Michel Meersseman joined CBRE's Brussels office in January 2014 as the Head of Advisory & Transactions for Investor Leasing. In 2023, he assumed leadership of Corporate Clients & European Institutions for CBRE Belgium.

With over 20 years of real estate experience, experience advising Belgian corporates globally and European institutions locally, Jean-Michel is recognized as a leading expert in Belgium for large-scale and long-term real estate transactions. He provides strategic guidance and coordinates local and global real estate strategies, helping international clients based in Brussels navigate their office space decisions—whether buying, selling, or renting. Additionally, he manages significant real estate projects involving European Institutions on behalf of various institutional owners.

Before joining CBRE, Jean-Michel spent nearly a decade at another brokerage firm as Associate Director of the Belgian Office Leasing Team, where he provided agency services for office properties across Belgium. He began his career at BNP Paribas Fortis, a prominent financial institution.
