Sébastien Vander Steene

Sébastien Vander Steene is an accomplished Senior Director at CBRE Belgium, where he leads the Retail department. With over 25 years of experience in the real estate sector, he has played a pivotal role in shaping retail strategies across Brussels and Wallonia.

Sébastien began his career at CBRE in September 2001 as a Consultant in the Letting & Sales department. He transitioned to the Retail department in 2007, progressing from Senior Consultant to Associate Partner. In January 2012, he took on the role of Retail Manager for Brussels and Wallonia, and was promoted to Partner (now Senior Director) in January 2013. Since 2022, he has been at the helm of the Retail division, overseeing a dynamic team of approximately 20 professionals.

He holds a Master’s degree in Economic Sciences and a degree in Real Estate from IFAPME (2001), as well as a post-graduate degree in Commercial Real Estate from Solvay Business School (2006). Sébastien is fluent in French, Dutch, and English, facilitating effective communication in Belgium's diverse market.
